At UK list price of £19,020, the Patek Philippe Nautilus ref. 7118/1A is already a significant investment — but that figure is largely theoretical. On the grey market, examples routinely trade at substantial multiples of retail, reflecting demand that Patek's deliberately constrained production has no intention of satisfying. Acquiring one at any price currently requires patience, relationship, or a willingness to pay the secondary market premium.
