The sighting places Nagui firmly in a very small circle of private collectors who actually own and wear this reference rather than keeping it locked in a safe.

The Patek Philippe 5074P is built around the hand-wound caliber R 27 Q, a movement that integrates two of watchmaking's most demanding complications. The minute repeater mechanism chimes hours, quarter hours, and minutes on demand via a slide on the case band, while the perpetual calendar correctly accounts for months of varying lengths and leap years without manual correction until 2100. The platinum case measures 42mm — relatively generous for a Patek of its era — and the ref 5074P was produced in two principal dial variants: a striking black grand feu enamel and a slate-grey version, both finished to the standard expected of Geneva Seal certification. Patek discontinued the reference in 2012 after roughly a decade of production, citing the extraordinary complexity of assembly.
