Influencer Corey Gamble spotted wearing a Patek Philippe

Who & what: Stainless Steel Patek Philippe Nautilus Reference 5711/1A-018 Tiffany & Co. Blue Dial – Corey Gamble

When two men sharing a vacation itinerary are each wearing one of only 170 examples of the same watch, you pay attention. Corey Gamble, the well-connected influencer and fixture in the Kardashian-Jenner orbit, was photographed alongside designer Tommy Hilfiger, both on the wrist with the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1A-018 — the Tiffany & Co. limited edition that rewrote the secondary market rulebook the moment it was announced.

The reference 5711/1A-018 is, mechanically, the final expression of the iconic 5711/1A series before Patek Philippe retired the reference in January 2022. It houses the manufacture Caliber 26-330 S C, a self-winding movement beating at 28,800 vph with a minimum 45-hour power reserve, offering hours, minutes, seconds, and a date at three o'clock — the same clean architecture Gerald Genta sketched on a napkin for Patek in 1974. The case measures 40mm in stainless steel with the signature horizontally embossed 'Clous de Paris' dial, here rendered in the immediately recognizable robin's-egg Tiffany blue and stamped with both the Patek Philippe and Tiffany & Co. signatures on the dial and caseback.

The collector significance of the 5711/1A-018 cannot be overstated. Produced to mark Tiffany & Co.'s 170th anniversary and distributed exclusively through Tiffany boutiques at a retail price of approximately $52,000, the edition sold out before most collectors could even register their interest. The first example to reach the block — lot one at Phillips Geneva in December 2021 — hammered at $6.5 million, setting a record for any Nautilus and instantly cementing the reference as a generational grail piece.

Corey Gamble moves comfortably in circles where seven-figure wristwear is unremarkable, but even in that company the 5711 Tiffany registers. His visibility through the Kardashian-Jenner media ecosystem means this sighting reaches an audience far beyond traditional watch collecting, which is precisely the kind of cultural crossover Patek rarely engineers but occasionally benefits from regardless.

On the grey market, examples of the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1A-018 have settled considerably from their peak hysteria but remain dramatically elevated — current private sales hover in the $250,000–$350,000 range for unworn examples with original Tiffany retail paperwork, making the list price of $52,000 feel almost quaint in retrospect.
