The sighting confirms the model's crossover appeal well beyond traditional watch circles.

The Rolex Daytona 116500LN is built around the Calibre 4130, a column-wheel, vertical-clutch chronograph movement developed entirely in-house after Rolex ended its long partnership with Zenith and the ébauche-based Calibre 4030.
