Introduced at Baselworld 2018, the Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph 5968A was a landmark release: the first time Patek had ever fitted a chronograph movement into the Aquanaut case. The reference has appreciated dramatically since launch, and examples in unworn condition regularly transact on the secondary market at figures that dwarf the official retail price — a clear signal of sustained, fundamentals-driven demand rather than speculative noise.
