Grima, the British-Italian jeweller appointed to Queen Elizabeth II in 1966, produced a series of wildly sculptural gold-cased watches for Omega in the late 1960s and early 1970s that sit at the extreme edge of what a watch can look like — organic, almost geological in form, closer to wearable sculpture than conventional horology.
