About Alizée’s watch collection

Alizée Jacotey, known professionally as Alizée, is a French singer who rose to international prominence in the early 2000s after being discovered by pop icon Mylène Farmer. Born in Ajaccio, Corsica, in 1984, she broke through with her debut single "Moi... Lolita" in 2000, which topped charts across Europe and became one of the best-selling French-language singles of that decade. Over the course of her career she released multiple studio albums, earned several NRJ Music Award nominations, and built a fanbase that extended well beyond France into Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Japan. She later reinvented her public profile by competing on the French edition of Dancing with the Stars, where she and her partner took home the trophy in 2013.

The Alizée watch collection, as documented through public sightings, is modest in number but pointed in taste. The standout piece on record is a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona in stainless steel with a black dial — specifically the reference 116520, a model produced by Rolex from 2000 until approximately 2016. That particular reference is powered by the in-house caliber 4130 and was, for much of its production run, one of the more sought-after watches on the secondary market, frequently trading above retail. Alizée was photographed wearing it in a relaxed beach setting, the watch sitting alongside friendship bracelets on her wrist — an approachable styling choice for a piece that carries genuine collector credibility.

What makes the sighting notable is the contrast between the casual context and the watch itself. The Daytona 116520 is not a watch that announces itself loudly, but among collectors its black-dial stainless steel configuration is considered one of the cleaner, more desirable configurations of the reference. Choosing a tool-oriented chronograph over more overtly dressy options suggests a collector sensibility rather than purely aesthetic motivation — a detail that adds some depth to what the Alizée watch collection, small as it currently appears, says about her off-stage preferences.
