Rapper Tyga spotted wearing a Richard Mille

Tyga has never been shy about his affinity for haute horlogerie, but his latest wrist sighting raises the bar considerably. The Los Angeles-based rapper was recently photographed wearing the Richard Mille RM 030 'Paris Saint-Germain' edition — one of only 100 pieces released globally to celebrate the Swiss manufacture's partnership with the iconic French football club. At $180,000, this is not a watch for the hesitant.
The Richard Mille RM 030 is built around the calibre CRMA1, a skeletonised automatic movement developed in-house and notable for its variable-geometry rotor system. That declutchable rotor — a genuine engineering innovation — allows the wearer to disengage winding when the watch is sufficiently powered, reducing wear on the movement's components over time. The movement delivers approximately 55 hours of power reserve and oscillates at 4Hz, with functions including hours, minutes, seconds, and date. It is a technically serious watch beneath its flamboyant exterior.
The PSG edition of the RM 030 distinguishes itself through an extraordinary case construction. The main case is machined from TZP Blue Ceramic, a tetragonal zirconia polycrystal ceramic chosen for its scratch resistance, biocompatibility, and the depth of its blue coloration — a direct nod to PSG's iconic club colours. The case band, meanwhile, is rendered in Red Quartz TPT®, Richard Mille's proprietary composite material built from hundreds of layers of quartz filaments infused with red pigment resin. No two TPT® cases share the same surface pattern, giving each of the 100 examples a unique identity.
For collectors, the RM 030 PSG sits at an interesting intersection: a limited sports-partnership edition from a brand that commands genuine secondary market premiums, combining two of Richard Mille's most technically demanding case materials in a single reference. The 100-piece ceiling ensures scarcity without being theatrical about it.
Tyga's relationship with Richard Mille is well documented — the rapper has appeared with multiple references over the years, consistently gravitating toward the brand's most visually aggressive executions. The RM 030 PSG fits that pattern precisely, while also signalling a collector's awareness of the reference's rarity and engineering substance.
