Tadej Pogačar crossed the finish line of the 2024 Tour de France as a back-to-back champion, and on his wrist was something most collectors will never see in person: a bespoke Richard Mille RM 67-02 produced exclusively for UAE Team Emirates, its bridges finished in the green, red, black, and white of the UAE national flag.

The RM 67-02 platform was originally developed in close collaboration with sprint and hurdles athletes, most notably Wayde van Niekerk, with the primary engineering brief being radical weight reduction without sacrificing shock resistance. The case combines grade 5 titanium with Carbon TPT and Quartz TPT composite materials, bringing total weight to approximately 32 grams. The manually wound skeletonised movement, Calibre RMUL2, beats at 28,800 vph, offers around 38 hours of power reserve, and is visible through the open architecture dial. Case dimensions measure 47.52 mm × 38.45 mm with a thickness of just 7.75 mm — flat enough to slip under a race jersey cuff without impediment.

From a collector standpoint, the RM 67-02 family occupies serious ground in the Richard Mille catalogue. Standard production references in Carbon TPT have carried list prices north of $150,000, and athlete-specific editions — Wayde van Niekerk, Mutaz Essa Barshim — consistently command strong premiums on the secondary market when they surface at all. The UAE Team Emirates commission appears to have been produced in extremely small numbers, with no public retail allocation. That combination of team-specific livery, genuine sporting provenance, and confirmed scarcity places it among the more significant modern Richard Mille variants to appear on the wrist of an active champion.

Pogačar, 25, is now one of the most dominant stage racers of his generation, and his relationship with Richard Mille extends beyond a simple sponsorship arrangement — the brand has engineered this piece to function as actual race equipment, not a marketing accessory worn only on the podium.

Because the UAE Team Emirates RM 67-02 was never offered for sale and carries no public retail price, any secondary market valuation is speculative. Comparable bespoke team or athlete editions of the RM 67-02 have traded privately well above $200,000 when documentation and provenance are solid. This particular reference, tied to consecutive Tour victories, would likely exceed that benchmark significantly if it were ever to change hands.
