The dial composition recreates the most iconic photograph of Einstein, taken in 1951, executed with precision watchmaking techniques more commonly associated with haute horlogerie than luxury brand collaborations.

Louis Vuitton's watchmaking division, established in 2002, has prioritised artistic and technical innovation over volume production. The Tambour Einstein Automata exemplifies this philosophy: the LV 525 calibre required two years of development and incorporates mechanisms rarely seen outside independent watchmakers' workshops. The case measures 43.5 mm in diameter, crafted in white gold with a sapphire caseback revealing the multi-level movement architecture. Water resistance stands at 50 metres, sufficient for formal wear but not designed for diving or swimming.
