Produced from roughly 1971 to 1987, it pairs the Bakelite bezel insert — a material introduced on the earlier ref. 6240 in 1965 alongside experimental screw-down pushers — with the definitive screw-down pusher case architecture that became the signature of the late manual-wind generation. Inside beats the Valjoux 727 calibre, a column-wheel chronograph movement offering a 30-minute and 12-hour totalizer layout that collectors consistently regard as one of the most satisfying manually wound chronograph executions of its era.
