The white-dial variant is generally considered the harder of the two to source, adding a further layer of desirability. Its combination of legibility, motorsport provenance — the Daytona name references the Florida circuit — and technical refinement makes it a cornerstone of any serious modern Rolex collection.

Iger's choice is telling in its restraint. Despite overseeing one of the largest media companies on earth and drawing compensation that routinely ranked among the highest in corporate America, the Daytona ref. 116500LN reads as a considered, knowledgeable selection rather than an ostentatious one. It is a watch that rewards those who recognize it.

At retail, the Rolex Daytona ref. 116500LN carries a list price of approximately $14,550 USD. On the grey market, however, reality diverges sharply — current secondary prices sit firmly in the $28,000 to $35,000 range for unworn examples, reflecting the sustained demand that has defined this reference since its debut.
