The Nautilus 5711/1A-018 is a direct descendant of Gerald Genta's iconic 1976 porthole-inspired design. It shares the same 40mm stainless steel integrated-bracelet architecture as the standard 5711/1A-010, housing Patek Philippe's in-house caliber 26-330 S C — a self-winding movement beating at 28,800 vph with a 45-hour power reserve, offering hours, minutes, seconds, and a date complication. What separates the 018 from every other 5711 is its Tiffany Blue dial, rendered in the exact robin's-egg hue owned and trademarked by the New York jeweler, and the presence of the Tiffany & Co. co-signature beneath the Patek Philippe name — a dual-branded stamp last seen on Patek dials in the early 20th century.

The watch was released in December 2021 to coincide with Tiffany & Co.'s 175th anniversary and, critically, just as Patek Philippe announced the discontinuation of the standard 5711. Phillips auctioned the inaugural example that same month; it sold for $6.5 million — roughly 125 times its $52,000 list price — in a single evening, with proceeds benefiting charity. The remaining 169 pieces were distributed exclusively through Tiffany & Co. boutiques to pre-selected clients.

Wahlberg is no stranger to serious watchmaking. The actor and producer has been documented wearing references from Rolex, Richard Mille, and Patek Philippe across various public appearances, suggesting a collection built on genuine horological interest rather than mere celebrity accessorizing. Owning a 5711/1A-018 places him within an extremely narrow group of collectors — 170 people globally hold one from new, a number smaller than many Swiss watch limited editions that command a fraction of the price.

On the secondary market, the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1A-018 commands between $4.5 million and $6.5 million depending on provenance, box, papers, and condition. No grey-market platform lists these routinely; transactions occur almost exclusively through the major auction houses. As the last expression of the 5711 reference, combined with the Tiffany pedigree, its long-term collectibility is considered essentially unassailable by the serious collector community.
