Rapper Gucci Mane spotted wearing Jacob & Co

Courtside at what appears to be a Boston Celtics home game, Gucci Mane — draped in layered diamond chains and trademark oversized frames — offered photographers an unobstructed view of one of the most singular wristwatches in existence: the Piece Unique 18K white gold Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon, its entire case encrusted with 459 baguette-cut diamonds set directly by the manufacture's atelier in Geneva.

The Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon, launched by Jacob & Co. in partnership with Bugatti Automobiles in 2021, is a horological engineering statement as much as a jewellery object. The skeletonized case — here rendered in 18K white gold measuring approximately 54mm lug-to-lug — features a hand-wound movement, Caliber JCAM37, whose centrepiece is a 1:100 scale recreation of the Chiron's 8.0-litre W16 engine. Sixteen cylinders actuate in correct firing order, four turbochargers spin, and a tourbillon regulator sits exposed at six o'clock. The movement operates at 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz) with a 60-hour power reserve, delivered via a lateral crown architecture inspired by the Chiron's ignition key placement. In this Piece Unique version, every surface of the cushion-shaped bezel and mid-case is factory-set in baguette diamonds, transforming an already theatrical sports watch into something approaching wearable sculpture.

Within collector circles, the standard production Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon — limited to just 50 pieces in various case materials — already commands extreme attention. The Piece Unique diamond variant sits entirely outside that production hierarchy: a single-commission object with no direct market comparator. Its reported retail price of $1 million places it among the highest price points Jacob & Co. has publicly attached to any single reference, rivaling their Astronomia Maestro and Twin Turbo Furious Baguette editions.

Gucci Mane has long maintained one of hip-hop's most deliberate watch wardrobes, favouring pieces that communicate technical extravagance rather than simple brand recognition. Pairing this watch with a casual courtside outfit — pink cargo trousers, blue mesh top — reinforces its role as a personal collection anchor rather than a red-carpet prop.

On the secondary market, no comparable diamond Piece Unique Chiron Tourbillon has surfaced publicly at auction. The standard white gold production reference has traded between $500,000 and $750,000 at major auction houses; the diamond Piece Unique would realistically command a substantial premium above its already seven-figure retail price should it ever be consigned.
