Musician Marshmello spotted wearing Audemars Piguet

Marshmello, the masked DJ and producer behind global hits like 'Happier' and 'Wolves,' was recently spotted wearing an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak in 18kt pink gold, reference 15400OR — a timepiece that occupies a very specific and highly desirable corner of the Royal Oak universe.

The 15400OR is a 41mm interpretation of Gerald Genta's revolutionary 1972 design, executed entirely in 18kt pink gold, from the characteristic eight-sided bezel secured by eight hexagonal screws down to the integrated bracelet. The dial — in this case finished in a warm pink gold-toned Grande Tapisserie pattern — is protected by a sapphire crystal and paired with AP's in-house Calibre 3120 automatic movement. That movement offers a 60-hour power reserve, oscillates at 21,600 vph, and comprises 280 components. Date display sits at 3 o'clock. At UK list, the 15400OR carried a price of approximately £40,500 — translating to roughly $52,000 USD at prevailing rates. On the grey market, completed examples regularly trade between $55,000 and $68,000 depending on condition, box and papers, and dial variant, reflecting the sustained collector demand that precious-metal Royal Oaks consistently generate.
