Mobster Bugsy Siegel spotted wearing Bulova

Credited as the man who brought gambling to the desert, Las Vegas mobster Bugsy Siegel lived his life on the edge. He was a well-known figure within the Jewish Mob, New York Mafia, and Jewish-Italian National Crime Syndicate. Siegel began his life of crime as a bootlegger during prohibition, but his focus shifted to gambling after alcohol was legalized in 1933.

Siegel was instrumental in transforming Las Vegas into the gambling mecca that it is today, purchasing the Flamingo Hotel and Casino and pouring millions into its construction. However, his involvement in the mob ultimately proved to be his downfall when he was assassinated in 1947.

Despite the violence associated with his life of crime, Siegel was known for his love of luxury and lavish spending. On display at the Mob Museum in Las Vegas is Siegel's 18K gold Bulova watch, a symbol of his flashy lifestyle and power within the criminal underworld.
