Who & what: Richard Mille RM 67-02 White Quartz TPT Alexis Pinturault Edition – Lando Norris Spotted Wearing Ski Racing Icon

Lando Norris has become one of the most closely watched wrists in Formula 1, and his latest sighting doesn't disappoint. The McLaren driver was photographed wearing the Richard Mille RM 67-02 Alexis Pinturault edition — a watch built not for the paddock, but for the punishing demands of World Cup alpine skiing.

The RM 67-02 was introduced as an ultra-thin, athlete-focused evolution of the RM 67 family, and the Pinturault variant pushes the concept to its logical extreme. The 38.7mm case is constructed from white Quartz TPT, Richard Mille's proprietary composite material made from layers of silica fibers impregnated with a white pigmented resin and stacked at alternating angles before being compressed under intense heat and pressure. The result is a material that is simultaneously harder than steel, visually striking with its characteristic marbled grain pattern, and extraordinarily light. The complete package — case, movement, and strap — weighs only 32 grams. Inside sits the caliber CRMA7, an automatic movement with a variable geometry rotor, hours, minutes, seconds, and a date function, running at 28,800 vph with a 50-hour power reserve.

Among collectors, the RM 67-02 athlete editions occupy a specific and coveted niche. Richard Mille produces these collaborations in limited numbers, tying each reference tightly to a sporting discipline and a named ambassador. The Pinturault edition draws its color palette and material choices from alpine racing aesthetics, and the white Quartz TPT case gives it an immediately distinctive presence on the secondary market. These are not watches that sit still in price.

Norris's affinity for Richard Mille is well documented — the brand has deep roots in motorsport, sponsoring multiple F1 teams and drivers over the years. Wearing a ski-racing edition rather than an F1-specific piece is a collector's move, signaling genuine enthusiasm for the broader Richard Mille universe rather than a simple brand partnership obligation.

At a retail price of $120,500, the RM 67-02 Pinturault is already a serious acquisition. On the grey market, however, the watch trades at roughly $390,000 — more than three times retail — underscoring the demand for limited Richard Mille athlete editions and the near impossibility of securing one through authorized channels.
