Water resistance is rated to 50 metres, and the titanium crown and pushers are secured via a splined system characteristic of the RM line.

Among collectors, the RM 011 in Carbon NTPT occupies serious real estate. It was produced across multiple limited series — annual calendar variants, red TPT, Quartz TPT — and the Carbon versions consistently attract strong secondary market attention for their wearability and visual impact relative to the gold-cased alternatives. The reference introduced many buyers to Richard Mille's philosophy and retains a foundational status in the brand's history.

Norris has worn Richard Mille pieces consistently throughout his F1 career, and the RM 011's motorsport DNA — literally shaped alongside a Grand Prix driver — makes it a credible rather than coincidental choice. At a retail price in the region of $180,000 USD, and trading significantly above that on the grey market, it is a serious collector's statement from a driver still in his early twenties.
