Takashi Murakami was spotted wearing the Hublot Big Bang Unico Sapphire Rainbow, a highly expressive timepiece that mirrors the artist’s bold and colourful aesthetic. The sighting highlights one of Hublot’s most visually striking creations, blending contemporary watchmaking with an unmistakable artistic presence.

Produced in a very limited edition of just 50 pieces, the Big Bang Unico Sapphire Rainbow features a 45 mm case crafted entirely from transparent sapphire crystal. The case is set with multicoloured gemstones, creating a vibrant rainbow effect that makes the watch instantly recognisable on the wrist.

The openworked dial reveals Hublot’s in-house Unico chronograph movement, showcasing the mechanical architecture and reinforcing the model’s technical character. The combination of skeletonised construction and vivid colour treatment places the watch firmly within Hublot’s avant-garde design language.

At launch, the Big Bang Unico Sapphire Rainbow carried a reported retail price in the region of USD 80,000–85,000, reflecting the complexity of its materials and the extremely limited production. The model remains one of the most distinctive sapphire-cased watches produced by the brand.
